HeartSine Samaritan Pediatric-Pak

HeartSine Samaritan Pediatric-Pak: what it is and who it is for
The HeartSine samaritan Pediatric-Pak turns a HeartSine samaritan PAD 350P or 500P into an AED for young children. Like the adult Pad-Pak, it combines one set of defibrillation electrode pads and the battery in one cartridge with a single expiry date.
The Pediatric-Pak is pink, is indicated for children between 1 and 8 years of age or up to 25 kg, and provides more than 6 hours of continuous monitoring or 30 shocks. Schools, kindergartens, childcare centres and family venues usually keep one next to the adult Pad-Pak.
