Vivest A3 AED: what it is and who it is for
The Vivest A3 is a semi-automated external defibrillator with a 5-inch colour LCD that shows step-by-step animation throughout the rescue, alongside voice and on-screen text prompts in three languages (English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin). Rescuers who freeze under pressure can simply follow the pictures.
One set of electrode pads covers both adult and paediatric patients, with Child Mode (50 J) selected by a dedicated button. The unit runs an automatic daily self-test, and the battery lasts 5 years or up to 200 shocks.
